Two copies, on purpose
Each parent's device records independently, and both copies are kept with their fingerprints in the family record. Two independent recordings of the same call make any later tampering easy to spot.
What's kept
- Recordings are deleted after 365 days; the fingerprints stay in the record permanently
- Family Pro includes 10 hours of recorded calls a month
Recording laws differ by state and country, and some require every participant's consent. The app tells your co-parent and asks them to agree, but whether a recording can be used anywhere is not a question we can answer. Ask your attorney.
